2024 Pinot Noir Harvest
Nestled in the hills of Akaroa, the Caldera Wine Estate has just completed its 2024 Pinot Noir harvest with the help of their dedicated team, Simon and Logan, and a group of experienced pickers.
This year's harvest proved exceptional, though smaller in scale. Grapes were meticulously collected from 14 rows of our esteemed vineyards –– a testament to the boutique nature of our production. The result? A precious yield destined to become 333 bottles of Caldera's exclusive Pinot Noir.
While the 2024 harvest was smaller in volume, we have the utmost confidence in the concentrated flavours and exceptional quality of these grapes. This limited-release vintage is sure to become a prized addition to any cellar, a true testament to Caldera's commitment to small-production, high-quality Pinot Noir.
And the excitement continues! Next week, we will be harvesting our Malbec grapes. These will be used to create our first-ever Rosé, ready for you to enjoy later this year when our vineyard opens.
